Well guys i arrived into LA on 11th and had a few days there catching up
with my management team and stuff. Working hard trying to get TPS up in the
USA and working on some other good ideas, but u know what its like, there
are a million good ideas around, esp in LA. All I can do is keep working
hard.

So, played my 1st event on 15th the $2500 short handed, reg"d really late
and picked up AA first 0rbit and double up, then QQ second orbit and the
same guy who doubled me 4 bet me with Q8 and flopped trips, oh well short
but sweet.

The Rio btw is absolutely jam packed every day, they have been getting
record numbers in all events so far, i guess no one can play online so they
all show up and play. The one thing that concerns me more and more every
year is the level of degeneracy that keeps escalating, these guys need to
get a life, all they do is gamble gamble gamble, they are gonna wake up in
10yrs and realize that they have wasted their lives. Saddens me that's
all....

Anyways, 2nd event was the 2500 10 game mixed and if you have been
following my tweets you already know what happened and how angry I got, but
the up side to that is that I got it out of my system and got back to
business the next day in the 3k plo. Now, I dont mean to brag but but i
have been playing some damm good poker this year and some of my finest was
in this event. Patience and discipline helped me stay focused the whole
time, and just a note for u folks who dont really understand plo tourneys,
you need to play tighter than a botoxed forehead, the reason being is that
firstly u want to play only premium hands and secondly there are no ante's
so you are not blinding out so fast.

So, i make day 2 of the event and play through tha bubble which gives me my
first cash for the serie ( 1 out of 3 events, some are 0 for 30) but thats
not what im after is it? you guys know by now I want to win every blasted
thing I play. We get down to 50 players and i have about 60k in chips with
the blinds 1200/2400 which is plenty. out of the small blind I call a raise
and this is what happened :
Catching the action on the flop of {7-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}, we
found 2005 World Champion Joe Hachem leading out with a 15,600-chip bet
from the small blind.

Ben Lamb was contemplating a decision, and after eyeing up Hachem's
remaining 30,000, Lamb slid out a raise to put Hachem all in. The
Australian made the call for his tournament life as the cards were placed
on their backs.

Hachem: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Lamb: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

With Hachem in great shape to double through against Lamb's gutshot draw
and top pair, the {2-Clubs} and {10-Clubs} on the turn and river would see
Lamb spike a runner-runner flush to send Hachem to the rail.
